Miami Dade College is spotlighting the achievements of legendary renowned, retired Professor, Hall of Fame Coach, and International Motivational Global Speaker Susan Summons during the 35th Anniversary of Women’s History Month.
The MDC honors are a month-long celebration featuring exciting in-person and virtual events at all eight campuses, including lectures, musical performances, wellness events, and a mini film festival, among others.
The 2022 National Women’s History month Theme is ‘ Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.
Miami Dade College officials say this year’s celebration pays tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during the ongoing pandemic and also recognizes the many ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
