Miami, Florida

Miami native Quinten Barnard enjoys modeling, fashion and entertainment, but working with people and helping them reach their fitness potential is his first love. A love that he says, really feeds his soul.

The 26-year-old Personal Trainer/Model, started doing body building shows at 18 years of age for a natural company called Musclemania. Throughout his career he’s had several high profile model shoots including “Reebok Classic,” but his most visible opportunity came as a cast member in the reality show “The 20s,” which premiered on the cable network Pop! and live-streamed on Beachbody on Demand.

The 20s was an 11-week reality competition featuring 20 personal trainers living in one house. Think “Big Brother” meets “The Biggest Loser.” Barnard was one of two fitness instructors from Miami chosen to compete on the show.

“I usually start with a 30-minute cardio run in the morning. That leads me into a full body workout of high intensity or low impact, which gives my body a burst of energy and a shock. This really keeps every muscle in great form and mobility to get me through the day,” said Barnard.

You might be surprised to learn he’s not a gym rat. “My approach is pretty non-traditional. The gym is not really my preferred workout environment. I prefer to use whatever is around me to train with. And as far as diet goes I went vegan to consume maximum amounts of food but also to keep a moderate look to my body.

As for future goals, Quinten says he would love to work with Kanye, Armani Exchange, Yoshi Yamamoto creator of Y-3, Nike, and on the fashion side Gucci.

Currently, the Miami native is exploring more reality show opportunities and working on a bio-pic. He’s also looking to work with select celebrities as a trainer. And he welcomes more acting roles. “I would love to get cast as a romantic lead or in a supporting role, something in the dating/romance genre. Being in shape is sexy!”
