For Immediate Release
North Miami Beach, FL, February 3, 2017– Affinity Event Creative is excited to present The Bridal & Event Show on February 19th, 2017 from 4:00pm — 8:00pm at the Ancient Spanish Monastery. Join us for a special event that promises to be interactive, inspiring, & an amazingly good time.
“The Bridal & Event Show offers an experience like no other,” said DeAnna McIntosh, Executive Director, of Affinity Event Creative. “Instead of symmetrical rows of exhibitor booths, attendees and exhibitors will experience innovative vignettes and displays (giving exhibitors a creative outlet). Our show is also eco-friendly and technologically savvy. Attendees can use a mobile app instead of receiving countless flyers, business cards, and print advertisements,” she added.
But perhaps the most distinctive part of The Bridal & Event Show is it’s location, location, location! This fabulous event takes place not inside a traditional ballroom, hotel or convention center, but instead inside of one of South Florida’s most unique and versatile venues- the Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach. “Our show features retail shops and local event professionals all inside the breathtaking Monastery and it’s gorgeous gardens where attendees can shop for multiple events in their lives (bridal showers, honeymoons, social parties, weddings, and more.”) said McIntosh.
When you arrive at the show there is complimentary valet parking. Proceed through the gates leading to the gardens where you can meet with the most creative and on trend local event professionals, shop in retail pop up shops, and participate in inspiring workshops held by our expert vendors! All while enjoying a live band and sipping cocktails at the bar!
Inside the breathtaking Cloisters, you can visit our Design Gallery for tons of inspiration, watch the fashion presentations (here’s an exciting tidbit — you will see more than dresses and tuxes on the runway), meet some more amazing local vendors, taste exquisite cuisine, unwind in the social media lounge, and more!
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $30 for the Luxury VIP Experience, which includes access to the VIP Gifting Suite sponsored by Aventura Mall and Fentimans. To purchase your tickets click here.
Once you purchase your ticket for The Bridal & Event Show, you will be sent a link to download the show’s mobile app which will help guide you through the show and give you direct access to the contact information of all of our incredible vendors!
For your own beautifully flawless event, attend The Bridal and Event Show at the Ancient Spanish Monastery and meet the very vendors who will stop at nothing to make that happen. See you there!
On February 20 Affinity Event Creative in partnership with La Feterie by Juliana Schiffer are collecting a portion of florals used for the event, and rearranging them for donation to the residents of the Miami Rescue Mission Center for Women & Children.
“We value and appreciate the amazing work of the Miami Rescue Mission Center for Women & Children. “We are honored to have the opportunity to arrange the beautiful bouquets for their residents. It is our hope these florals will be a welcome surprise that helps brighten up their day,” said Schiffer.

The Ancient Spanish Monastery aka St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church is a medieval Spanish monastery cloister which was built in the town of Sacramenia in Segovia, Spain, in the 12th century but dismantled in the 20th century and shipped to New York City in the United States. It was eventually reassembled at 16711 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida, where it is now an Episcopal church and tourist attraction called the Ancient Spanish Monastery. It is one of the oldest buildings in the Western Hemisphere
