Renowned Motivational Speaker, Susan Summons, to Deliver Keynote Address at the 54th Annual Miami Dade College Kendall Academic Awards Ceremony
MIAMI, FL — On April 19th, 2023, at noon, Susan Summons, Hall of Fame, WBL Pro Legend, and MDC Icon, will deliver the keynote address at the 54th Annual Miami Dade College Kendall Academic Awards Ceremony. The event, with the theme “Celebrating Academic Excellence and Re-energizing Future Community Talent,” will be attended by honorees, students, families, faculty, and esteemed members from the community and college.
This year’s ceremony will be particularly significant as it marks the first year that student-athletes will be included in the awards ceremony as academic scholars. Summons, a well-known advocate for academic and athletic excellence, was the perfect fit to deliver this year’s keynote address.
Summons will encourage the audience to dream big and like Albert Einstein, push the boundaries of their own imaginations.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to address the students, faculty, and members of the community at this year’s Miami Dade College Kendall Academic Awards Ceremony, and to celebrate the achievements of the amazing honorees from various disciplines, from the faculty to the distinguished Presidential Leadership team,” said Summons.
