Miami’s First Virtual and Augmented Reality Expo Promises to Bring The Magic and Expand The Mind

The MIAMI VR EXPO at The Magic City Innovation District, is the first expo dedicated to virtual, augmented and mixed reality.
Scheduled for June 7-9, 2018, the MIAMI VR EXPO seeks to expand minds, create opportunities, provide resources and share creativity. The event will be hosted at the Magic City Innovation District, 6301 NE 4th Ave, Miami, FL 33138. Tickets are on sale starting at $25. Children under 12 free. The public is invited to a special Welcome Launch at Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), June 7th from 6pm — 9pm.
The Miami Virtual Reality Expo will showcase speakers, startups and organizations who are using AR & VR to drive economic growth, encourage empathy and collaboration, democratize healthcare and education, and promote sustainability in the world.

Miami VR Expo will partner with PAMM for an evening of networking and showcasing a taste of Miami’s emerging VR & AR start-ups. And as the World Cup approaches, it seems everyone’s excited about fútbol, including us! The World’s Game: Fútbol and Contemporary Art is an exhibition presenting the art form of soccer through the works of more than 20 artists in video, photography, painting, and sculpture. Be prepared to experience a surprise in Virtual Reality courtesy of Loft VR! The PAMM Exhibit runs from April 13 — Sept. 2, 2018.
Features on the show floor will include:
Virtual Reality Showcase: The MIAMI VR EXPO Showroom floor will be one of the highlights of the show, drawing attendees eager to experience exhibitors’ products on a 3D Virtual Reality platform where they can interact with immersive VR and AR products, zoom-in/out in real 3D, walk around, detach/attach objects, interact between people connected in different scenarios, and more.
Educational Sessions: Keep abreast of the latest trends, data, and regulations through 15 hours of educational programming. A special focus will be on critical issues such as education and startups, as well as sessions on tourism, travel, new technology, aviation, healthcare, filmmaking and student engagement. There are opportunities for speakers to join our panels.
Networking: Industry professionals will exchange insights and get to know colleagues from all of the presented industries during events throughout the show. These include receptions, private meetings, one-on-one time with exhibitors, exchanges in the education sessions, and mingling with colleagues during contests and demonstrations on the show floor.
