Miami WBL Sports Legend Susan Summons Named BADASS Women of the Year Finalist

What does it mean for a woman to be BADASS? According to the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and City National Bank, she is fearless, exceptional, and making a difference. And she deserves to be honored. WBL Pro Legend, 7-time Hall of Famer Susan Summons, is most certainly Badass! Summons has been selected as a finalist in the sports category for the 2nd annual Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s BADASS Women of the Year Award.
“I am honored to be selected as a finalist in the BADASS Women of the Year Awards. Join me & other exceptional women in Miami Dade at the ceremony hosted by @miamibeachbiz @citynationalbankofflorida on Friday, November 18 at @jungleisland at 11 AM.
“The point of the program is to honor exceptional women in industries that are traditionally dominated by males and that are making a difference in their field,” said Vice Chair of the Women’s Business Council Stephanie Leger. “We are proud to partner with the Chamber on the BWOTY Awards and to help local charities that focus on supporting women and young girls.”
