Author and CPA Reberca David to Speak on Tax Strategies for Black Women Entrepreneurs at GIRLfessionals 10th Anniversary Conference

Sunrise, FL. South Florida-based women’s organization GIRLfessionals, Inc., founded by Cherolyn Davis, will observe its 10th Anniversary and Conference with the RESPECT MY EXISTENCE — THE “I MATTER” Conference on May 20, 2023. The event will feature Reberca David, an Author, CPA, and Tax Strategist, as a speaker, alongside Geralda Larkins, a Visionary Strategist, Pastor, Leadership Coach, Author, Teacher, and Award-winning motivational speaker.
David will speak on the topic of “Infiltrating the System,” noting, “As black women in business, we are breaking unimaginable barriers. We are entering spaces that others could never have envisioned us in. But, are we playing the game appropriately now that we have obtained access to these uncharted territories? Are we playing for victory?” Her speech will touch on topics like using the tax code to one’s advantage, the importance of accounting in taxes, and tax planning. Ms. David recently launched her book Entrepreneurship 101: The Things Your CPA Wants You To Know Regarding Your Business.
The conference is open to all women, business owners or not, and will offer opportunities for networking, inspiration, and enlightenment. Other panelists will cover topics such as “The Art of Storytelling,” “Identity Crisis,” “An Idle Mind,” and “Conflict Resolution and Accountability.” The event will also feature music by “Dj Silk” and be hosted by Tara Ford-Smith. Each guest will receive swag bags, participate in raffles, and enjoy brunch and additional amenities.
